Announcing the Ultimate Fighting Game League at Alpha Esports & Technology

Big news: Friday Fight Night is evolving into something bigger, bolder, and more competitive. Welcome to the Undisputed Fighting Game League at Alpha Esports & Technology.

This new league is built for players who want more than random matchups and one-night brackets. We are creating a 10-week competitive experience designed for high school students, college players, and young adults who want to test their skills, learn new games, and compete in a real season format.

What makes this league different?

The Ultimate Fighting Game League is a multi-game fighting league. That means players will not be locked into just one title all season. Instead, competitors will battle across a rotating lineup of fighting games during an 8-week regular season, with a different game featured each week.

A playoff format built for strategy

After the regular season, the top competitors will advance into a 2-week playoff bracket. Seeding will be based on regular-season performance, so every match matters. The playoffs are where things get even more exciting. Matches will be played in a Best-of-5 format, and game selection becomes part of the battle.

The higher seed picks the first game
The lower seed picks the second game
The winner of game two picks the third game
Game choices continue strategically until a winner is crowned

This format rewards both skill and adaptability. Players will need to know their strengths, prepare across multiple titles, and make smart decisions under pressure.

Every Friday, matches will be hosted live at Alpha Esports & Technology in Suwanee, Georgia, with:

In-person competition
Live spectators
Shoutcasters on the mic

We are also planning practice opportunities during the week so players can sharpen their skills before match night.
